Greetings Cards
In 2020, I discovered the work of a rather interesting artist called Ruby Silvious. She paints all manner of things on egg shells, nut shells, envelopes and much more. But what caught my eye was her miniature paintings on used teabags. I had to try this out.
It was quite challenging at first—the teabag as a canvas was not quite like any other. After days of trial and error, I eventually found a technique that worked for me. I decided to do a teabag painting every day for three months. These paintings have now become greetings cards and have formed the basis of two books.
