Greetings Cards

During 2020, I discovered the work of a rather interesting artist called Ruby Silvious. She paints all manner of things on egg shells, nut shells, envelopes and much more. But what caught my eye was her miniature paintings on used teabags. I had to try this out.

It was quite challenging at first—the teabag as a canvas was not quite like any other. After days of trial and error, I eventually found a technique that worked for me. Starting in February 2021, I decided to do a teabag painting every day. These paintings have now become greetings cards.

Prints of my growing teabag paintings have now joined my other greetings cards,
Pots & Flowers, which you can see here.
